Founded in 2020 and based in Vienna, the Kandinsky Quartet is a versatile young ensemble which is gradually gaining recognition all over Europe and has been invited to festivals like Heidelberger Frühling, Venice Biennale, Milano Musica, Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, Wien Modern and Verbier Festival.

In April 2024 they received the 1st prize at the “Gasteig Competition” in Munich - while also being prize winners at the Boccherini Competitiom, Mozart Competition Salzburg and of the “Verbier Anniversary Prize”.

Future engagements include performances at Rheingau Festival, Inventio Music, Festival de la Chaise-Dieu, Il Circolo Di Ave and Clasclas Festival where they will perform together with Elisabeth Leonskaja.
